CE - Clinical Supervision Training

THIS TRAINING RUNS 7/17/17-8/21/17

This online course provides 45 hours of training in clinical supervision. The course covers major models of clinical supervision, development and maintenance of the supervisor-supervisee relationship, ethical and legal aspects in clinical supervision, cultural competence in clinical supervision, and structuring, intervention and evaluation practices in clinical supervision. The course meets the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy educational requirements for licensed professional counselors (LPCs and LPCCs) who intend to seek the approved-supervisor credential. The course does not meet requirements for the AAMFT approved-supervisor credential, as only courses provided directly by the AAMFT meet those requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 mandatory online face-to-face Zoom sessions on July 17, 2017 at 6:30PM and August 21, 2017 at 6:30PM central time. All students MUST attend these two sessions.

Solange has more than 15 years of counseling practice, including private practice and supervision. She has supervised field experiences of more than 100 master level students and a number of counseling professionals seeking licensure. Professional development, identity, and ethics are the central focus of Solange’s work as a counselor educator.
